SHARON WHEELER’S SCARWORK ™

ScarWork is the original creation of Sharon Wheeler in the US.  It is a painless and gentle manual therapy designed to assist with the healing of scar tissue and adhesions following accidents or surgeries.

 

ScarWork can enable:

• the softening of scar tissue

• releasing of tightness and tension to reduce discomfort

• promote optimal scar healing

• reduction of pain and sensitivity

• assist range of movement

 

​Treatments last 60 mins and three weeks intervals between sessions are recommended to allow the tissue to reintegrate and settle with no heavy lifting for three days following a session.  The number of treatments required varies depending on the size, age and nature of the scar as well as the individual's healing process.
