ABOUT ME
Michelle studied both TCM and Five Elements style acupuncture for 4 years to degree level at the esteemed College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. She has also trained in facial revitalisation acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, TuiNa Chinese medical massage and Toyohari Meridian Therapy which is a style of Japanese acupuncture which uses subtle but powerful non-invasive needling techniques.
Her interest and devotion to this area of medicine was inspired by her first-hand experiences of acupuncture helping with her migraines, menstruation issues and low immune system. "Acupuncture had such a positive and sustained impact on my health and overall well-being, with the positive side effects of making me feel relaxed, revitalised and more able to cope with life’s stresses. I became so passionate about acupuncture that I decided I wanted to become an acupuncturist in order to help others."
Michelle undertakes regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses to maintain professionalism and competence. Please visit her Post Graduate CPD page for further details.
Michelle is a fully insured member of the British Acupuncture Council, a self-regulatory body with strict guidelines and safety procedures such as using sterilized disposable single-use needles.
