ABOUT ME

​

Michelle studied both TCM and Five Elements style acupuncture for 4 years to degree level at the esteemed College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading.  She has also trained in electro-acupuncture, TuiNa Chinese medical massage and Toyohari Meridian Therapy which is a style of Japanese acupuncture which uses subtle but powerful non-invasive needling techniques.

Her interest and devotion to this area of medicine was inspired by her first-hand experiences of acupuncture helping with her migraines, menstruation issues and low immune system.  "Acupuncture had such a positive and sustained impact on my health and overall well-being, with the positive side effects of making me feel relaxed, revitalised and more able to cope with life’s stresses.  I became so passionate about acupuncture that I decided I wanted to become an acupuncturist in order to help others."

Michelle is a member of The Acupuncture for Fertility Network (AFN).  She is a fully insured member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC).  AAC sits under the umbrella of the British Acupuncture Federation, a self-regulatory body with strict guidelines and safety procedures such as using sterilized disposable single-use needles.
